Advert for the Moving Forwards Together project

Moving Forwards Together is an exciting new cross community initiative run by Create Community, Citizens Advice North Herts and North Herts & Stevenage Centre for Voluntary Service to support local residents on their next step whether its advice, training, volunteering or employment.  The project offers you a personalised programme to help build your confidence and skills through short courses, light touch mentoring and signposting all in a friendly, supportive and non-judgmental way.

We’ll give you the space, time and opportunity to offload, pause, reflect and begin exploring options for your next steps, whatever they may be.

You’ll have access to 1:1 support from someone there to simply listen, get to understand your story, your needs right through to informed guidance and signposting, ending with tailored action plan that works for you.

You’ll have access to courses, programmes and activities that help you develop your self worth, self belief and self confidence through to the skills you need to make progress whether to take that next step or ultimately, employment.

You’ll be able to access to equipment you need to get things done plus get to grips with some of those day to challenges such as financial planning or budget management.

You’ll be able to explore opportunities such as a diverse range of volunteering roles which will enable you to meet new people and build on your existing skills. We are here to help you.
