My work experience – Alistair Atkinson

Once again, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time volunteering for North Herts Citizens Advice. I relished being given the responsibility to design and deliver my own workshop on how students can more effectively manage their finances at university. Being asked to do this made me feel valued and I found it to be incredibly rewarding and interesting work; I actually learnt a lot on how I can save money when I go back to university after conducting my research for the project!

All the staff I interacted with were incredibly friendly and welcoming; I would particularly like to thank Christine for helping and supporting me throughout the week and giving me such good feedback on my workshop. I very much look forward to volunteering again in the future. Student Costs
