If you applied for a volunteering role, we collect your details through our online application form, or via email or post.

2️ Public Interest (Article 9(2)(g) UK GDPR) – Where we have a statutory duty to provide advice, such as the Consumer Service or local authority-funded services.

3️ Confidential Counselling & Advice (Article 9(2)(g) UK GDPR) – Supporting your welfare, such as emotional support for isolation or wellbeing.

We also process data under legitimate interests to improve our services and carry out research.

Do You Need to Give Consent?

No. We do not rely on consent as our primary legal basis for processing your data.
However, you still have choices about how your data is shared, such as research participation or referrals to other organisations.

Who We Share Your Data With

We only share your data when necessary and with your knowledge. This may include:
