Letchworth Financial Health Project
Being financially capable gives people the power and confidence to make the most of their money and improve their lives. Managing money well – both day-to-day and through significant life events like starting a family or moving home, helps to alleviate stress and improve general wellbeing.
This project is being funded by the Letchworth Heritage Foundation
About the Project
Together with the Letchworth Heritage Foundation we identified a shared desire to make an enduring intervention to address the issues of inequality and poor living standards In Letchworth. This is a 3 year project which commenced in 2020 – its aims are:
- to improve people’s standard of living and well-being in the town
- to help residents increase their financial awareness & capability
- to enable and empower people to deal with crises as they arise
