I had a visit last Wednesday and I found the whole experience extremely useful; they fitted a new detector in my hallway and repositioned an existing one on the landing (because I originally had it in the wrong place), they advised me to close all doors when going to bed (as this will help slowdown the spread of a fire). And most importantly they told me what to do in the event of a fire.
They were very helpful and answered all my fire safety concerns/questions.
I would recommend this service to everyone, and as their leaflet says “It won’t cost you a penny and it could save your life”
