Low-cost community supermarket where all items are under £1. Shoppers can select up to 20 items. The first eight visits are free through the Household Support Fund, with a small charge after this.

Best Before Cafe

Opening times:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 11.30am–1.30pm
  • Tuesday evening: 4.45pm–5.30pm
  • Thursday takeaway: 11.30am–1.30pm

Community food project selling surplus supermarket produce at low cost to reduce food waste and improve access to affordable food. Minimum donation of £3 per bag, with free bread available.

Wilbury Community Cafe

Offers a range of community activities and support-focused groups for local residents, including children’s and youth activities, volunteering opportunities, social groups and wellbeing-focused events.

The church provides spaces for social connection, peer support and community involvement for families, young people and adults. Some activities are faith-based, while others focus more broadly on reducing social isolation and improving wellbeing.

Provides mental health and wellbeing support for adults and young people across North Hertfordshire.

Services include:

Some services are free and self-referral is available for selected support. Additional groups focus on reducing loneliness and improving wellbeing, including LGBTQ+ groups, music groups and decluttering groups.

Wellbeing checks are available by appointment for Hertfordshire residents aged 18+ who are registered with a Hertfordshire GP.
